Ernie Garcia

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Ernie Garcia co-founded Carvana and has served as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer since Carvana inception in 2012. Ernie is also Chairman of the Carvana Co. Board. Prior to founding Carvana, Ernie held various roles at the DriveTime Automotive Group, Inc. from January 2007 to January 2013. Prior to DriveTime, Ernie was an associate in the Principal Transactions Group at RBS Greenwich Capital from 2005 to 2006, where he focused on consumer credit based investments. In 2016, Ernie was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year in the Mountain Desert region for the consumer technology category. Ernie holds a B.S. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.

Ryan Keeton

Co-Founder and Chief Brand Officer

Ryan Keeton co-founded Carvana and has served as the company’s Chief Brand Officer since Carvana’s inception in 2012. Prior to joining Carvana, Ryan was a principal at the Montero Group, a strategic consultancy firm, from 2010 to 2012, where he advised global public and private companies on strategic and business initiatives. From 2008 to 2010, Ryan served as Director of Strategic Marketing for George P. Johnson, a global marketing agency. Ryan holds a B.A. in English and American Literature and Language from Harvard University.

Ben Huston

Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer

Ben Huston co-founded Carvana and has served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer since Carvana’s inception in 2012. Prior to joining Carvana in 2011, Ben co-founded Looterang, a card-linking platform that enabled personalized deals to be automatically administered through consumer credit or debit cards. Ben was chief executive officer of Looterang from 2011-2012. From 2008 to 2011, Ben served as an associate at Latham and Watkins, a full service global law firm, where he focused on regulatory affairs. Ben holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in American Studies from Stanford University.

Mark Jenkins

Chief Financial Officer

Mark Jenkins has served as our Chief Financial Officer since July 2014. Prior to joining Carvana, Mark was a professor in the finance department at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where his teaching and research focused on consumer and corporate credit markets from 2009 to 2014. While at Wharton, Mark was responsible for teaching courses in the undergraduate, MBA, and executive education programs on corporate restructuring, corporate credit and leveraged finance. Prior to his time at Wharton, Mark worked at The Brattle Group from 2001 to 2004, an economic consulting firm, where he focused on corporate valuation and demand forecasting in technology markets. Mark received a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University and a B.S.E. from Duke University in Mathematics and Civil Engineering.

Dan Gill

Chief Product Officer

Dan Gill has served as our Chief Product Officer since March 2015, overseeing all technology functions, as well as strategic partnerships for the business. Prior to joining Carvana, Dan spent his career in both enterprise software and consumer internet businesses, including Integration Appliance ($INTA), as well as the co-founder and CEO of Huddler from 2007 until the company’s acquisition by Fandom in 2014.

Paul Breaux

Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Paul Breaux has served as our General Counsel since August 2015. Prior to joining Carvana, Paul practiced law at the Houston, Texas office of the firm Andrews Kurth LLP (now Andrews Kurth Kenyon LLP) from 2008 to 2015. While at Andrews Kurth, Paul's representative experience encompassed a broad range of general business transactions matters. Paul holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, a B.A. in Plan II Honors from The University of Texas at Austin, and a B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.

Tom Taira

President, Special Projects

Tom Taira has served as President, Special Projects since October 2018. Prior to joining Carvana, Tom was the co-founder and CEO of Propel AI, which was acquired by Carvana in 2018. In 2005, Tom co-founded TrueCar, Inc. and from 2005 until 2018 he served in various roles at TrueCar, Inc. including Chief Product Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, and President. Between 2009 to 2010, Tom co-founded and served as CEO of Honk LLC, an automotive social media website, which was acquired by TrueCar. He has also been a Director and founding team member at various automotive startups, including Model E, a vehicle subscription service, and Build-to-Order, a new American automotive manufacturer. Tom began his automotive career at Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. where he served as eBusiness Strategy Manager. Tom holds a B.A. in Social Sciences from the University of California, Irvine and an M.B.A. from Georgetown University.

Christina Keiser

Executive Vice President, Strategy

Christina Keiser joined Carvana in January 2016. She currently oversees company strategy, corporate affairs and Carvana’s ancillary products business. During her time at Carvana, Christina has also held leadership roles in strategic partnerships and expansion operations. Prior to joining Carvana, Christina served as Vice President of Talent for Benchmark Capital, an early stage venture capital firm in San Francisco. Christina started her career advising corporate clients on communications and investor relations with Sard Verbinnen & Co in New York City. Christina holds an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
