The automotive program at San Diego College of Continuing Education is free. The certifications and license tests that turn students into working techs are not. Carvana CarVets came together with Legacy Motor Club to cover them – $20,000 toward the fees standing between these students and a job in the trade. One student has wanted this since they were 16. Their advice to anyone still waiting: don’t.
